Dracula

Theater Bartlesville is ghoulishly happy to present Dracula, directed by Theater Bartlesville’s own Carol Lynn Fry. Tickets are on sale online, or at the Theater Bartlesville Box Office Monday – Friday 11a.m. – 2 p.m. This is a spooky, but fun show, not only for the cast, but for the audience as well.  This version of Dracula was written by Heywood Gould in 1978/1979 for a specific group of actors. (One of whom was the director) at Forestburgh Playhouse in New York.  Heywood is a “movie guy” who wrote the screenplay for Boys From Brazil, Rolling Thunder, and Cocktail starring Tom Cruise.  He also wrote the screenplay and directed Michael Keaton in One Good Cop and Trial by Jury which starred William Hurt, among others.  He lists novelist as one of his many accomplishments, having penned The Serial Killer’s Daughter as well as Leading Lady and Fort Apache, The Bronx and many others. So, let slip the cares of the real world, and join us for a bloody good evening.
