CIRCLE MIRROR TRANSFORMATION by Annie Baker opens Thursday, April 7th, 2016

Directed by Artistic Director, Shelby Brammer

In the small town of Shirley, Vermont, five strangers gather to embark on a unique journey as participants in the free-spirited Marty's “Adult Creative Drama" class at the Community Center.  Schultz, a somewhat lost, recently divorced carpenter; Lauren, a self-conscious high school junior; Theresa, a vibrant former actress; and Marty's quietly charming husband, James, are led through a series of acting exercises ranging from the heartbreaking to the ridiculous, creating a petri dish of hilarious details and antic sadness.

Winner of the 2010 OBIE Award (OFF-BROADWAY THEATER AWARDS) for Best New American Play, CIRCLE MIRROR TRANSFORMATION is about real people exploring their lives through tiny leaps of faith and creativity. Playwright, Annie Baker won the 2014 Pulitzer Prize for her play, The Flick which is currently running off-Broadway.
